Rory uses a blended approach of neuromuscular needling methods (similar to IMS or trigger point release), innovative techniques to correct and mobilize adhesions and scarring of the connective tissue, as well as additional techniques of cupping, gua sha, and tui na to augment and stabilize the specific changes done with the acupuncture.

Rory Sandstone has been honing and developing his practice style through years of study, research, and innovation.  He has a deep background in anatomy which informs his understanding of the classical model of acupuncture channel networks.  In essence, Rory takes an ecological approach to the treatment of illness - seeking to understand the exact location and nature of the problem in the broader context of the internal environment of the body.  His technique is extremely precise and seeks to regulate the circulation of blood-flow, nerve conduction, and myofascial function.
